Cine en el desierto - Short documentary - 2011
Since 35 years the Sahrawi people have been living in refugee camps in the very south of Algeria in the middle of the forbidding loneliness of the Sahara. For one week in April the film-festival "FiSahara" comes to the refugees into the desert in order to raise awareness for the forgotten conflict concerning the last colony in Africa. But most of all this event is about the power and significance of cinema as a cultural experience.
