"Fruits of Hypocrisy" wins ESoDoc - European
Social Documentary scholarship!
An animated documentary about illegal african immigrants, working on fruit plantations in the south of Italy. Based on the brutal riots in January 2010 between african and italian villagers in the Calabrian small town Rosarno. The movie creates a complex image of the humanitarian catastrophy, ending up with the africans being deported.
"Fruits of Hypocrisy" is a coproduction with Hahnfilm.
